Anika Anderson
Executive Director
I was raised on a farm in the Ashland area. After I graduated high school, I spent two years in Bible school. Those two years were pivotal in my walk with the Lord; setting a foundation for years of ministry
in the states, two years in the Dominican Republic and 4 years in Portugal. Over the last ten years God has been tuning my heart to stand in the gap for the unborn and support families in need. I have a big
heart to see the restoration of family as God intended.
Speaking truth in love and striving to educate and show people, not just biblical truth, but scientific truth, is a deep passion of mine. Life begins at conception. Every life has intrinsic value, is wonderfully
made and because of Jesus, has a unique purpose.
Creating an honest, authentic, and God honoring culture in the workplace and in the community is a direct result of my love for God. We, as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, are all a part of the body. We each play a role in reaching our community with the Gospel. With deep faith and belief that the Gospel alone is the hope for our world; I am committed to the vision of the center; where we seek to see our community transformed where every baby is wanted. And our mission is to prevent abortion and present eternal truth.
Serving our community is a great honor and I am humbled that God would take a small-town ordinary girl like me and use me in extraordinary ways for His kingdom.
Kayla Hoecherl
Nurse Manager
My name is Kayla Hoecherl and I've been a nurse for 5 years. I started in pediatric home care, pediatric camp nursing, and trauma. I moved up to the beautiful north woods 2.5 years ago as God was calling me to help take care of the ministry my family owns and runs. I worked in obstetrics and labor and delivery in Hayward for a year before transferring to the Emergency Room in Ashland where I currently still work part-time. I was recently blessed to marry by best friend Braedon and we both are very involved in various ministries. He is a youth minister and we live at the Christian Adventure Camp my family operates as full-time property managers. We love the outdoors and when we're not serving in our various missions, you can find us outside, working on our humble homestead, running, rock climbing, skiing, biking, kayaking, hiking, camping, playing with our two recently rescued dogs Porter and Patsy, reading, or playing music together. We both felt a calling towards helping with the pregnancy center here in Ashland and I am honored and blessed to be a small part of God's plan for loving women, babies and the men who support them.
